Unfortunatly, I'm giving up.  Not getting any sleep last night is catching up to me, and being here all alone makes it much harder.  Sorry, guys!  Good luck to everyone still awake!
I wish my cat were here to keep me company.
I wish I only had an hour left instead of seven and a half.
I wish my computer would quit freezing.
I wish I had someone here to keep me company.
I wish I had a bed here to stretch out on.
I wish James Marsters and Orlando Bloom would magically show up. (Hey, if you're going to wish, wish big!)
I wish there were a thermostat down here so I could quit running upstairs to adjust the air conditioning.

A few more Sims pictures...

I run into Sean Astin at a bar, and stop to check my makeup.  Yeah, because that's what I should be concerned about when I'm wearing pj's!

I changed clothes, and we had dinner.

Me in the Elite Forces?  There's a terrifying thought!  However the pay is really good...

...and I look darn cute in the uniform!

I'm having a rough time dealing with the idea of 8 more hours right now.  I really want to just give up and go to sleep.  Especially if I could drive back to my old house and sleep in a *bed*!   I hate the idea of giving up, since I know I can do this, I've done it twice before (or is it three?), but I'm fading fast.  Hopefully I can wake up and get remotivated!

If you can think of anything for me to post about, please leave comments!
I have just been brought Taco Bell, YAY!

Real post coming soon, I promise!
Wow, I can't believe it's 10pm already! Just 9 hours to go!

I've been trying to get my kitchen looking more like a kitchen, and less like a war zone. The old sink that used to be in my bathroom is currently leaning against my kitchen cabinet, and a roll of the carpet that we ripped up from the living room is plopped in the middle of the kitchen floor, so it's pretty impossible to make it look good! At least my fridge now has cute photos and magnets on it!
I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I was just dancing around my kitchen to Ashlee Simpson.

Been playing the Sims, I'll post some more pictures later. For now, I think I'm going to get back to unpacking!

More Sims

Okay, so I'm an idiot... I wasn't having html problems, I just forgot to upload the images!  Duh!

My humble abode

Mr & Mrs Goth came over, but ended up arguing about their kid in my front yard.

Then they fought about money in my living room.  So, I kicked them out.

I played with my magic kit for a while, and learned how to turn people into frogs.  Too bad I didn't learn that before the Goths left...

Only job offer available, so I took it.  I don't DO six am!

Willow stops by, but leaves pretty quickly.  Poor me.

I decide to go out dancing for a little fun, but don't bother to change out of my pajamas, for some reason. I wonder why nobody will dance with me?
HTML issues again, but Sims pictures in the next post!

I hope mom comes with Taco Bell soon!  I'm starving!
In a huge stroke of luck, I finally got my Sims disk to work!

Here's brand new little Sim Crystal

And the beginning of my house

I am SO GLAD to have this to entertain me, I was starting to fall asleep!

More updates soon!
I am absolutly dying to play the Sims now! You know how it goes, when you can't do something, you want it all that much more? Grr! I may go install it on my mom's computer, and then delete it in the morning. Sad, but better than nothing!

I've been working on my color block collage project, and now I have the black and white one completed, the green one almost finished, and the yellow one done. Yay!
Halfway there at last! This has been a LONG 12 hours! It seems to go longer with people here at my house for some reason, I guess because when people aren't here, I space out more, or get lost in my own little world.

My mom is planning on sleeping at the old house tonight, so I'm going to be here all alone at night for the first time! Eep! Thank goodness for cable and internet!
It's been raining like crazy for the past half hour or so, so I shut down the computer for a while, and am back just in time to post!

My back is killllllllling me! What an awful day to fall on my ass!
Aww, my Tallulah is up over at http://www.greekgoddessjen.com/! Her fan club will be pleased.

I spent most of the last half hour laying on my makeshift bed on the floor, and stretching. My lower back hurts SO much from faling this morning! Is there a chiropractor in the house?

It just started to rain again, whee! It makes me want to nap, though! Is anyone else getting a little sleepy! I love thunderstorms when I don't have to be out driving in them! (And as long as they don't screw with my internet!)

Post time!

You know you're 11 hours into the project-blogging when you completly forget to publish your post!

I guess I should get around to dying my hair sometime soon, but then again maybe having that to fall back on will come in handy at some point after midnight.

My smoke detector went off for no reason earlier, and scared me half to death! They certainly make those things loud and shrill! Yes, I know that's the point...

My kingdom for a nap! Maybe I can make my sister guest-post at six...
How crafty am I, getting out of my last post?  I only had to pay her a donut to do it, too!  Right now we're sorting through magazines for collage materials for my closet door project.  My sister has run off to Wal-Mart, hopefully to bring me back pretty things.

I did find these curtains, which would be super-cute in my bedroom:

They also have them in this green color-

which would be cute in my living room! The only problem is that they're $89 per panel! I'm watching E-Bay like a hawk! My real hope is to find some really cute Sari fabric on e-bay that I could turn into curtains.

Guest Entry

I am being lazy this particular half hour, so my niece Jordan is going to post.  Voila:

Hello
My name is Jordan and i am at my aunt's new house and she asked me to write so here i am I do not know really what to write about. My Aunt Crystal is the coolest aunt i think in the world but that is just my opinion .
I’ve been looking for cute curtains on ebay- I currently have sheets tacked up over my windows!  What color of curtains go with mutant radioactive frog green walls?

My sister is supposed to be here any minute, so I'm posting a couple of minutes early!
Ahhhhh, I've been sitting around stretching, and it feels soooooo good!  Between sleeping on the floor last night, and falling on my ass earlier, I'm a mess!  I'm thinking about either hooking my dvd player up upstairs in the living room where the big mirror is, or stealing it to bring down here, so I can do some bellydance dvd's in front of the big mirror (I'm yet to find one for downstairs yet).

Back to stretching!
Eep, 3:00 already!  It's COLD in here!

Hopefully I'll have a longer post at 3:30!
Watching What Not To Wear, eating krispy kremes, and waiting on my sister to come over.  Life is good!

This post marks 1/3 of the way through!

Yum!

Thanks to my mom, I now have a turkey & cheese sub from Subway, which I'm eating now, and a bunch of Krispy Kremes, which will be fantastic when I start getting sleepy!

First day in my new house is going really well so far, despite the lack of furniture.  I’m going to have incredible leg muscles soon, if today is any indication of how many times I’ll run upstairs on a daily basis!
My mom is supposed to be bringing over Subway and Krispy Kremes soon!  It doesn’t get much better than that!
It's amazing how quickly these half hours go sometimes!  I've been working on the foundation for the collage project I want to do to decorate my closet door.  It will be nine squares, each done in a different color.  I just finished cutting out the squares, so now it's time to find things to decorate them with!
I'm bored.  Since I have the tarot cards out, IM me at CrystalW07 if you want a reading!

Going to give photos a go again, hopefully it will work this time!

I just got a new tarot deck yesterday, the Radiant Rider-Waite deck.
It's pretty much the same as the classic Rider-Waite, except the colors are
deeper and more detailed.  Here are a few of my favorite cards (click the
picture to see the larger photo)

And a close-up of the Sun card...

While I'm at it, I thought I'd show some of my favorite cards from my Legend:
Arthurian Tarot deck.

(again, click the pic for the bigger version..)

And a super-close-up of a Legend card...

I've been drinking Tropicana Pink Lemonade, and let me tell you, a little sugar in my system makes a world of difference!

Well, it's official, something happened to my cd-rom when we moved the computer, because it refuses to read any of my Sims disks.  Woe is me!

I'm starting to drag... need some energy... time for the lemonade!  I think I'll set up my dvd player, too!   Do I even need to point out that I'm yet to accomplish anything from the to-do list I posted earlier?  Oh well, 17 hours left!

My computer hates me, part 2

After working in the kitchen for a while, I decided that playing the Sims did sound like fun, so I came back in to play.  Well, the computer decided it couldn't read my Sims disk!  Never fear, I thought, if Makin Magic is being uncooperative, I'll just go find the Superstar disk.  After searching the guest bedroom, which is where all of my boxes of stuff are, I finally found the Superstar expansion for the Sims, came down to play it and... the cd-rom won't read the disk!  Neither one is in bad shape, either!

Things are not going my way!

My computer hates me

Yeesh!  I just spent ten minutes getting the page of pictures all set up, finally had it ready to post, and my computer freezes!  I give up!  I'll post the rest of the pictures later when I'm feeling more patient, but for now, here's a pic of poor Ice Bat, who got all muddy when I fell outside:

I think I'm going to go do some unpacking, to get away from the computer, since I've been sitting here for four whole hours now!

One project-blogger is playing The Sims for 24 hours straight, which has put me in the mood to play.  Maybe I'll just let the game load while I unpack in the kitchen...
HTML is being evil to me!  Photos in the next post!  ARRGH!

I had hoped to post some pictures this time, but then my computer froze, and I had to restart!  Bleh!  Hopefully next post!

Three hours down, 21 to go!

Yeeowch!

I finally just got the energy to run upstairs so I could go get the stuff out of my car!  However, it is raining, and I wasn't smart enough to actually park in the car port last night, only half in, so I got wet!  THEN as I was dashing back into the garage, I slipped on the wet cement and landed smack on my ass!  OUCH!  If I wasn't already sore enough from sleeping on the floor last night, that should do me in!

Luckily, my camera made it in unharmed!  Ice Bat got muddy, though!  I'll have to post a picture of him in the next hour! (Sorry, Kiki!)
I really need to go out to my car to get my camera, so that I can have all sorts of picture-posting fun, but it’s still much too early, and I’ve climbed the stairs to upstairs way too many times already!  Maybe at some point before noon.  Or I can just be really lazy and wait till my sister comes over to see the house, and talk her into getting it.  Mmm, lazyness!

I think I'm going to start unpacking!
Despite getting pretty much no sleep, I’m so glad that I got to stay at the new house last night!  For those of you who are here just for the blogathon, you can read about the whole saga of searching for, buying, and remodeling this house in my regular journal, which is linked over there in the sidebar. à

Here’s my To Do list for today:
Post every half hour (um, obviously.)
Start Unpacking
Clean Refrigerator (My sister gave me her old one, since I’ve never had my own kitchen before.  However, it’s pretty icky!)
Work on (and hopefully complete!) collage project to decorate my closet door (more on that later!)
Write a 100 Things list to replace the old, outdated About Me on my main webpage
Start Unpacking
Dye my hair
Well, that’s kind of annoying.  Blogger now posts the time you opened the “create new post” window, instead of the time you actually post it, unless you manually change the time.  So, I’ll be typing up posts in Word, and then just copying them into Blogger when the time comes.

Mom just left to go back over to the old house for a while, taking the cats with her- we figured 12 hours in the new place was a good start, and decided to let them go back for a while before all of us went insane.
I set up a snazzy hit counter, but it doesn’t seem to like me.  Can anyone recommend a good website to get a free one at?

Owwwwwww, my leg is painfully asleep.  Blogging for 24 hours with no furniture is going to hurt!

Ironic

In a swift kick of irony, my cat Tallulah is now (finally!) asleep... right in front of my keyboard.  I'm very, very jealous.

I went out on the back deck around 6:30 to try to wake up, since I obviously wasn't going to get any sleep.  I had only been standing out there a minute when a hummingbird flew right up next to me!  Perhaps if I hadn't jumped about six feet and yelled "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" it might have come closer.  It did come back a few minutes later, at which point I was awake enough to figure out that I was standing about two feet from the hummingbird feeder (What the hell?  We don't even have furniture over here yet, but we have a freaking bird feeder?  With food in it?  For the record, Entire Contents of my Refridgerator Here: 3/4 of a two-liter of pink lemonade.)  I managed not to freak out when the little bird got close this time, but I think it wanted to test me, because after drinking from the feeder a few times, it flew right up in front of me!  If this keeps up, I may develop an irrational fear of hummingbirds.

Right now, I would kill for some Krispy Kremes.

Much Too Early!

Good Idea: Spending the first night in your new house the night before the unofficial blogathon/project-blog.

Bad Idea: Bringing the cats along so that they can spend their first night in the new house.

I don't think my poor cats have even blinked since we got here around 8pm last night.  They have been dashing around, examining every square inch of house, and trying to get out of every single window *all* night.  I think I finally managed about three hours of sleep between 2 and 5 am.

So, here I go again with another year of 24-hour blogging!  Let's hope I survive!

Yeesh! Last minute!

I was just laying around writing in my paper journal when I started to think about the Blogathon, and thus wondered why I hadn't heard anything about Project Blog.  Well, I just chekced the website, and it's next weekend!   I'm glad I checked!  I decided to set up a new blog for this year, rather than just using my old one.  Hopefully I can get a cute design for this thrown together super-quick, and in time for next weekend!

If you haven't already, head over to project-blog.org, and sponsor someone, or sign up yourself so that you can join me in the madness!
